Long walks beneath the moonlight,
Holding hands and smiling at the ground,
Or those lazy summer days
When all we did was mess around.

Goodbye came so fast,
Without a warning of any kind,
Not even giving me a chance
To try and change your mind.

I got really attached
And payed the price for it.
Gave you the best I had
And goodbye is all I get?

At the airport, a long kiss
As we waited for your turn to come,
The tears ran down my cheeks,
And all the sudden you were gone.

All I know is that I wish
You would have taken me with you.
