Growing up can be a pain in the neck

Touch

Touch... Touch is one of reality's biggest deceivers and one of disappointment's biggest allies. A touch can give someone expectations, and expectation is the root of disappointment. You can't just give someone the idea that they can start to move on from you and then come with your warm touch and revive their expectations! You just can't! You bluntly show me that you're not interested and then, suddently, you come up to me and touch me, both physically and emotionally... it really hurts and you have no freaking idea how much! It wasn't until I wiped that stupid grin of my face and all the butterflies settled down that I realized my hopes were coming back and my expectations were rising again, all because you go around giving false hopes without knowing the consequences of those actions. And you know what really pisses me off? Your embrace, the warmness of your body was everything I expected and more! While your body touched mine, your heart touched mine as well. Electricity rushed through every single bone of mine, while you just stayed indifferent and walked off normally... I know the protagonists of all the great love stories have to suffer before their happy ending comes but I just wished mine would hurry the fuck up because I think I've hurt enough. This is how a small gesture can cause such a huge heartbreak... All because I should have knowned better than to let a fire starter come and burn me with its warm touch...
